Hoy (por fin) resucito la categoría de
ilustrados y, ya que este fin de semana se celebra la gala de los Goya, lo hago con este Premio Nacional de Cómic 2008. Tres años después, esta enternecedora historia vuelve a dar que hablar, ya que es una de las candidatas a llevarse el Goya como “Mejor película de animación”.
Esta adaptación del cómic de Paco Roca se estrenó a finales de enero, aunque yo aún no he podido verla y no puedo decir mucho de su versión animada. De lo que sí puedo hablar es del cómic y de esta historia maravillosa, real, dura y divertida al mismo tiempo, que nos regala más de una sonrisa y más de una lágrima.
“Arrugas” es el relato de una dura batalla, la batalla contra la vejez y los crueles trastornos que ésta conlleva, como el Alzheimer o la demencia senil.
Un historia tan real como la vida misma, para disfrutar y para sufrir, que empieza cuando ingresan a Emilio, su protagonista, en una residencia para mayores…
Today, finally, I rescued the
ilustrados category and, because this weekend will be “The Goya Awards”, I do with this 2008 National Comic Prize.
Three years later, this touching story is one of the candidates to win the Goya as “Best Animated Film.”
This adaptation of Paco Roca‘s comic had its premiere in late January. I still have not been able to enjoy the movie. For this reason, I can not say much of its animated version, but I can talk about the comic and about this wonderful and real story, hard and fun at the same time, which made me smile and also cry.
“Wrinkles” is the story of a tough battle, the battle against aging and the cruel disorders that entails, such as Alzheimer’s or senile dementia.
A story as real as life itself, to enjoy and to suffer, that begins when Emilio, the main character, was admitted to a retirement home…
