“Relativity” es el título que
Alex Hall le ha dado a su última serie de pinturas. Según el artista, esta serie de obras es una sincera representación de cómo se siente en la actualidad.
Tras terminar sus estudios, viéndose empujado a poner un pie en el mundo real, se encontró terriblemente abrumado. Todavía no sabía hacia dónde dirigir sus pasos cuando empezó a darse cuenta de que la mayoría de la gente está, o ha estado alguna vez, familiarizada con este sentimiento de incertidumbre.
A raíz de esta idea de la incertidumbre como sentimiento común a toda una sociedad, nacieron estas pinturas en las que retrata a una serie de figuras sin rostro que podrían ser el reflejo de cualquiera de nosotros/as.
The last series of
Alex Hall, entitled “Relativity”, depicts individuals floating in an indeterminate time and space.
The artist says that this particular series is a very honest representation of where he currently is in his own life.
Having recently graduated college and being thrown off his feet into the real world, he was extremely overwhelmed. He still was not sure what path to take, or which way to go in life, when he began to realize that most people are familiar with this feeling of uncertainty.
With that idea about uncertainty as a feeling shared by we all, Alex Hall has created this painting series in which he chooses to paint the figures with no distinct faces so they would relate to every man and every woman.
