Filthy Luker is an artist who is really attacking his audience. Who could think that a green octopus suddenly starts to creep out from the windows, a huge banana rind lounges just in the center of a road and the trees start to see…

The painter openly acknowledges on his website that transforms the urban environment to torture innocent citizens :)

Milestone Project es un ambicioso proyecto de creación e innovación artística y cultural que presenta los días 12 y 13 de julio su primera edición en la ciudad de Girona. Una interesante cita con la cultura que se apoya en cuatro pilares fundamentales: Arte urbano, Música, Gastronomía y Pensamiento.

Nada más y nada menos que Vhils, Erica il Cane, Momo, Lucy McLauchlan, Boris Hoppek, Interesni Kazki y Moneyless serán los siete grandes artistas urbanos invitados a dar rienda suelta a su talento en esta primera edición del festival.

Como no queremos que nadie se quede con las ganas de asistir, sortearemos dos entradas dobles para todo el que escriba un comentario en esta entrada desde ya mismo hasta el 8 de julio a las 00:00.

Milestone Project is an ambitious project about Art and cultural innovation that arrives on 12 and July 13 to the city of Girona. It will be its first edition.

Milestone Project is an interesting meeting with the culture that rests on four pillars: Street Art, Music, Gastronomy and Thought.

Nothing less than Vhils, Erica il Cane, Momo, Lucy McLauchlan, Boris Hoppek, Interesni Kazki and Moneyless are the seven great street artists invited to unleash their talent in this first edition.

Wallpeople es un proyecto abierto que nos invita a colaborar en la creación de estos artísticos murales y ser parte de un momento único en un espacio urbano determinado.

Este interesante proyecto nació en Barcelona, pero ya se está extendiendo por el mundo. En su última edición ha estado presente en Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Málaga, León, Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, Lisboa, Oporto, Roma, Budapest, Berlín, Bratislava, Estambul, Nueva York, Miami, Toronto, San Juan de Puerto Rico, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Ciudad de México, Monterrey, Guayaquil, Panamá, Caracas, Bogotá y Río de Janeiro. 

En total se han congregando a más de 5.000 participantes que han expuesto aproximadamente 5.500 creaciones.

Wallpeople is an open art project that invites us to collaborate in the creation of these artistic murals and to be part of a unique moment in a specific urban space.

This collaborative project was born in Barcelona but it is spreading around the world. In its latest edition, this fantastic project has been in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Malaga, Leon, Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, Lisbon, Porto, Rome, Budapest, Berlin, Bratislava, Istanbul, New York, Miami, Toronto, San Juan de Puerto Rico, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Monterrey, Guayaquil, Panama, Caracas, Bogota and Rio de Janeiro.

Over 5,000 participants has involved in this last edition and they have exhibited approximately 5,500 creations.

Alice Pasquini es una ilustradora y diseñadora gráfica italiana que lleva su arte más allá de los límites del papel.

Estas “obras callejeras” han llamado especialmente mi atención por su gran potencial narrativo. Como comenta AliCè, su trabajo “trata de de personas y de relaciones”.

Sus pinturas ilustran historias protagonizadas, en su mayoría, por mujeres fuertes e independientes. Son casi como libros abiertos, como esos libros “para chicas” que casi todas hemos leído alguna vez…

Alice Pasquini is an Italian illustrator and graphic designer who takes her art beyond the boundaries of the paper.

I have drawn attention her beautiful urban interventions for its narrative power. As AliCè explain in her website, she creates art about people and their relationships.

These artworks illustrate real stories, starring mostly by strong and independent women. Her art is almost like open books. It is like those books “for girls” that most of us have sometime read …
